1. Who can rent and who can drive
Who can rent?
who is legally capable of entering into an agreement with Travel Land and is prepared to accept responsibility for the Vehicle throughout the Hire Period; and
who has the means that will be accepted by the relevant local Travel Land company to pay for the hire of the Vehicle and any associated costs;
And who provides valid identification documents as indicated below:

Who can drive? (the “Driver")
An authorized Driver of a Vehicle will be any physical person who complies with all of the following requirements:
is expressly mentioned and fully identified on the Rental Agreement or any attachment (and this may also be the renter)
provides a valid driver license and a valid identification document;
holds a valid driver license for a period which varies according to the category of vehicle and the applicable law in the country of rental, and/or the driver’s age.

Sedans 23 – 65* >3 years
SUV 23 – 65* >3 years
For drivers over 65years Extended insurance is required, 5$\day
Who cannot drive?
Neither person expressly mentioned / identified on the Rental Agreement is authorized to drive the Vehicle.
In addition, any person who cannot provide valid identification documents as indicated.
If You allow an unauthorized person to drive the Vehicle, then this is considered as a breach of the T&Cs and You will be responsible for any consequences that may arise as a result included the possibility to responding before Travel Land for the damages caused by you and/or an unauthorized person.
2. How can I contact the rental office?
The telephone number of the office where the rental begins is printed on the Rental Agreement given to the customer when collecting the vehicle.
3. What is the minimum age required to the driver to rent a vehicle?
The age of the driver to access the rental is 23 years old
4. Can I rent a car if I'm under 23?
Yes, you can, but only for some categories of car. You'll also have to pay the "Young driver supplement" – 5$/day
Option available only for 21 & 22 years old.
5. Do I need to have a driving license in order to rent a car?
Yes, you will need a valid driving license. It's a good idea to check that your driving license hasn't expired before you try to rent.
6. What type of driving license do I need in order to rent?
You need to have held a B category license for at least 36 months (3 years), and it must be currently valid.
7. Can I rent a car without a driving license?
No, you need to show us a driving license before you can rent a car.
8. Will a copy of my driving license be accepted at the rental desk?
No, you need to bring the original license, it must be legible, in good condition and valid for the whole period of the rental.
9. Can I pick-up or drop-off vehicle in a different city?
Yes, you can. You have to send a request to Travel Land office for such service.
Rates will be set-up based on chosen location.
10. What does "rental day" mean?
A rental day is defined as day up to 00:00. It is not depending on time of car pick-up.
However, car can be returned up to 10:00 next day after rental ends.
For instance: 01/06/2018 – 09/06/2018 (it is 9 full days).
Customer is available to drop-off the car no later than 10:00 10/06/2018.
11. What happens if I would like return the vehicle after the time specified in the rental agreement?
You must to contact the rental agency.
12. What happens if I get a traffic fine during the rental?
If you get fined by police, you will get a fine voucher which you have to pay in closest bank office.
In case of fine by automatic cameras fine will send directly to you.
13. Who is responsible for fines incurred during the rental? How can they be disputed?
The Customer as the person nominated in the contract (the Rental Agreement), is liable for fines or other charges resulting from breaches of the Highway Code or failure to pay toll and/or parking charges. Therefore, any fines incurred must be duly paid. To dispute a fine, the customer must do so directly with the authority that issued the fine notice, in accordance with the methods and time limits specified therein.
14. Can I take the vehicle out of Kyrgyzstan?
You may drive a car in the following countries:
Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan*
Uzbekistan it is country with strict laws and Travel Land can’t give 100% guarantee of entry.
All cars are forbidden to travel out of Kyrgyzstan, without Travel Land express consent.
Foreign countries fee 28$\day will be applied for each day out of Kyrgyzstan
Please be aware that You must comply:
• with traffic road regulations
• take personal insurance
in the country where You drive the Vehicle.

In addition to the rental price You have prepaid during the booking or that You will pay at the pick-up time or at the check-in) Travel Land is requiring You to leave Travel Land with some security for any additional charges that may arise during the use of the Vehicle over the Hire Period. This security is in the form of a financial deposit which takes the form of a bank pre-authorization. If you have booked your Vehicle by remote means of communication (website, mobile application or phone), the deposit amount is recalled in the confirmation email that You will have received following your booking.
In any case, the deposit amount will be reminded at the Travel Land station.
The deposit shall be executed by person signing the Rental Agreement.
Deposit has fixed amount:
Mini, Sedan – 300 USD
All SUV – 500 USD
*For driving in foreign countries security deposit is 1000$
Deposit can be done by credit card only.
17. Are chauffeur-driven cars avaible?
Yes, such service is available.
The price is 60$\day
18. Is fuel included in the rate?
No. The cost of renting a vehicle does not include fuel.
The vehicle is consigned to the customer with a full tank and should be returned in the same condition.
19. Can a second driver be added?
Yes, second driver can be added free of charge.
20. What should I do in case of accident or breakdown?
In case of mechanical breakdown or accident which prevents You from continuing your travel and/or obliges you to stop Vehicle to prevent any breakdown, you are provided with an assistance service, included in the price of Your rental.
You have to immediately Inform Travel Land office about problems, then Follow the instructions.
Here are 2 possible ways:
a. Car will be fixed at local workshop
Any required spare parts will be sent by Travel Land to workshop location.
b. If case of impossible to do car repair on site, Travel Land service team will go on site.
21. Why do I need a credit card?
A credit card is required as guarantee of the rental. It must be presented at the office when collecting the vehicle, and must be in the name of the person signing the Rental Agreement.
22. Can the credit card presented at an office be in the name of another person not present at the rental counter?
No. The credit card must be in the name of the person who physically collects the vehicle or the person who signs the Rental Agreement.
23. Is the credit card deposit guarantee debited?
No, it is not debited, but as a guarantee the amount is "blocked" on the credit card when the vehicle is collected.
24. When will the credit card deposit guarantee be "unblocked"?
This process will take at Banks Institution up to 30 days.
